The Commissioner of the Palestinian Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA), on Saturday, described the resumption of dropping humanitarian aid from the air in Gaza as a “ineffective” step in the face of the humanitarian catastrophe that ravages the Palestinian sector.
Lazarini wrote on the “X” platform, “The projection operations from the air will not end the danger of the aggravating starvation,” It is expensive and ineffective, and can even kill civilians who starved. ”

The humanitarian situation in Gaza deteriorated; It warned international organizations against exacerbation of malnutrition in children.
Lazarini promised that “a famine caused by a person can only find a solution to political will.”
Without direct criticism of Israel, Lazarini called for enabling the United Nations to intervene “widely and without obstacles” in Gaza.
Israel is facing increasing international pressure due to the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
At the end of May, Israel partially reduced an applied siege that it had imposed since March, which led to a severe shortage of food, medicines and other basic commodities.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Israeli army stressed that “Israel does not limit the number of trucks entering Gaza”, and that “international humanitarian organizations and United Nations agencies” do not collect aid as soon as they enter the Strip.

Several humanitarian organizations have been working in Gaza, and for months confirm that they are facing restrictions that prevent their response to the humanitarian crisis, including identifying the types of goods and severe administrative restrictions.
The needs in Gaza are enormous, according to non -governmental organizations and field certificates collected by the “French Press Agency”.
The Israeli government’s business coordination unit in the Palestinian territories (Kogat) of the Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that 600 trucks are waiting to be emptied by international organizations.
