It was reported that Afghanna is suspected of being linked to the “Taliban” movement, who arrived in the United Kingdom on secret flights, after a British military official caused a major violation of the data.
Earlier this month, it was found that a database containing details of 100,000 Afghan applies to asylum to the United Kingdom, which had been leaked by mistake.
It is worth noting that this program was established to help those who cooperated with the British forces to survive revenge after the “Taliban” returned to power in August 2021.
However, this error raised fears that the regime (the “Taliban) has now possessed what is known as the” killing list “and includes opponents.
It is noteworthy that, so far, nearly 18,500 Afghan threatened to the United Kingdom, as part of a secret rescue operation called “Robbak”, and 23900 others are scheduled to arrive from Afghanistan.
It is also scheduled to accommodate the new expatriates temporarily in houses belonging to the British Ministry of Defense and Hotels, until a permanent housing will be provided to them, while thousands of people who were left in Afghanistan will be struggled to stay in the face of the “Taliban”.
Bridge Bridge scheme
It is noteworthy that there are allegations that among those who were rescued within the Air Bridge scheme, some former fighters in the “Taliban”, in addition to the perpetrators of sexual crimes and other criminals who were previously imprisoned under the control of the coalition led by the United States in Afghanistan, according to the “Telegraph” newspaper.
Moreover, a number of these people have previously rejected their requests to asylum, because they were convicted of violent crimes and sexual assaults. However, their names appeared later on the leaked list.
This month witnessed the end of a judicial order to prevent publication from the Supreme Court that will last for 23 months, preventing the media from publishing the details of the leak and the next air rescue operations.
In a related context, high -level sources reported that people who had links to the “Taliban” movement were able to infiltrate the rescue program, by naming Islamic militants as relatives or assuming them and assumed them to the United Kingdom.
And an Afghan official revealed: “We had civilians in our offices who had clear links to (the Taliban).”
Another official said that “corrupt Afghana officials” were taking advantage of this program dedicated to British allies, to introduce people in connection with the “Taliban” to British territory.
Another added: “These are not good for them to Britain. They were fighting against the British forces and killed many British. Now, they are being fed at the expense of the British in London. ” He added, “Their hands are stained with the blood of the British.”
The British Ministry of Defense has yet revealed that up to 20 people from some Afghans who entered the United Kingdom within this program, have accompanied them. Four Afghans have so far been identified in connection with the “Taliban” who were rescued as part of the operation.
Among them is a person who arrived before a cable, who is believed to have applied to bring his relatives associated with the “Taliban” later. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that it is now in Britain, but it did not reveal the location of his family, who sympathized with the Taliban.
The ministry also stated that another man had been imprisoned for a period of four years on charges of selling weapons to the “Taliban”, and was released when the cable falls in August 2021, which is now in the United Kingdom.
As for the third person, he is believed to have a record that contains sexual crimes, and he has applied for asylum, and he is still in consideration, according to defensive sources.
Finally, it is believed that the fourth person holds a British passport, and has requested assistance in transferring sympathizers with the “Taliban”, by air to the United Kingdom.
For its part, the Ministry of Defense did not comment directly on this situation.
The British forces had participated in the military operations in Afghanistan within the international coalition against al -Qaeda and the “Taliban” after the September 11, 2001 attacks, and the number of its soldiers at the height of the deployment reached about 10,000, most of them in Helmand State.
Britain ended its combat mission in 2014, and withdrew completely in 2021 with the “Taliban” return to power.
The issuance of superior judicial orders is a rare event in the British judicial system, as the media is prevented from even mentioning the existence of those orders. It is usually used in sensitive issues related to the privacy of public figures. But this is the first time that the government’s use of this kind has been known.
