The famous British artist, Tom Greenan, expressed his deep fascination with the atmosphere that he witnessed during his attendance of one of the 2025 World Cup Electronic Games, which takes place in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. He described that experience as one of the most exciting moments, stressing that what he saw on the ground goes beyond everything he imagined about this global rising sector.
On his first visit to the Kingdom, Greenan said he was surprised by the great enthusiasm from the fans coming from all over the world to encourage their favorite players amid a championship that attracts the elite teams and the most famous electronic games in the world. He added: I watched matches in the game Call of Duetti. For me, I was playing it previously in my room on the Xbox, but now, I see these players compete against thousands of fans, chants rise as in football fields, flags flutter, and the atmosphere is enthusiastic. This is an amazing scene of a completely new world, and I think it is on its way to become a huge global phenomenon.
Greenan added with fascination: I felt as if I was inside a city technically advanced in every sense of the word. What surprised me is the size of the event and the associated momentum. To see the fans wandering with the shirts of their favorite teams, and discussions between them about players and stars, this proves the extent of the passion and affiliation that this global community has.
He pointed out that the most characteristic of the scene of electronic sports is the true passion of the players, who started their bedrooms out of their pure love for games, just as he himself began to sing in bars in front of a small audience. He said:
In my beginnings, I was not thinking about production contracts or musical sales. I was just singing because I loved it. These players certainly did not imagine years ago that they would reach these platforms. Today, their dreams are fulfilled on the stage in front of thousands of fans of ambitious young people. It is really amazing.

From my own works, I will choose: I found what I was looking for, unconsciously, a little love, a single dancer, and shades on the ceiling.
