German police announced today, Monday, that a landslide caused by heavy rains was probably the cause of a train accident in southwestern Germany, which killed at least three people.
Investigators said: “The water caused a ground collapse in the Al -Manda area near the bars, which probably led to the departure of the train.”

The police reported that three people died when a regional train left its path near the town of Ridlingen in the state of Baden-Forttemberg in southwest Germany yesterday evening, and the victims are the train driver, another employee of the German railway company “Deutsche Ban”, and a passenger.

According to the latest information from the investigators, at least 41 people were injured in the accident, after officials yesterday talked about the injury of 50 people, including 25 in critical condition.

A federal police spokesman said that about 100 people were on the train, which was heading from Zivliesgen to Olm.
The area had witnessed a storm earlier.
