A leader, “Hamsawi” raises an Egyptian anger by asking about the role of Cairo in “Gaza Famking” Arabausa

The heads of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Khalil al -Hayya, in which he wondered about the role of Cairo in the “Gaza famine”, sparked Egyptian anger on social media. Parliamentarians and live media were accused of “bidding” of the role of Cairo.

Cairo did not officially comment on the alive statements, but an informed Egyptian source expressed “his surprise at the life of such statements, especially since he is widely knowledgeable about the role of Cairo in light of his presidency of the movement’s delegation in the negotiations.” The source confirmed in statements to Asharq Al -Awsat that “Egypt never accepts questioning its role and its steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian issue, and working to stop the war and introduce aid.”

Al -Hayya said that “it does not make sense to continue negotiations under siege, genocide and starvation.” He urged, in a television speech on Sunday evening, in which he reviewed the path of armistice negotiations, “the countries of the Arab and Islamic nation and their components to cut the forms of political, diplomatic and commercial relations with Israel.” He called on the Arab peoples to “express complete anger by all means and ways due to what is going on in Gaza.”

The head of the Hamas movement in Gaza singled out a call in which he said: “O people of Egypt, O leaders of Egypt, O army of Egypt, and its clans, tribes, scholars, blooming, churches and elites, your brothers in Gaza die from hunger while they are on your borders and close to you?! The needs of the people of Gaza. ”

These statements sparked Egyptian anger, and they were circulated by social media pioneers, with criticism of the living, and the Hamas movement was responsible for the catastrophic situation in the Gaza Strip.

And through a group of denunciation questions, the media and member of the Egyptian Parliament (Parliament), Mustafa Bakri, commented, through his account on the X platform, on the alive statements, including questions about the size of the aid provided by Egypt to Gaza, and the role of Cairo in supporting Gaza politically and humanly.

Bakri referred to a lengthy session I gathered and alive for months, during which he listened to “an appreciation of Egypt’s position and political leadership.”

Bakri said, adding to the serpent: “I was hoping that you would respond to some of the deceived who forgot the Israeli embassies and began to besiege the Egyptian embassies … I was hoping that the Hamas movement would issue a statement that refuses to block the siege of the Egyptian embassies … I was hoping that the question would be directed to someone else except Egypt; Because you know the role of Egypt and the effort you make, which culminates in the introduction of more aid recently. ”

A member of the House of Representatives, Mahmoud Badr, criticized, in a post on his account on the X platform, the statements of the leader in the Hamas movement, and promised it “a denial of the beautiful and lack of respect for the covenant”, pointing to Egypt’s role in rejecting “displacement” and supporting the Palestinians, and introducing aid to the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian blogger Louay Al -Khatib, through his account on the “X” platform, directed “sharp” criticism of the serpent, amid questions that held the “Hamas” movement responsible for what happened to the Gaza Strip and its inhabitants since the seventh of October (October 2023). He promised the alive statements “part of an integrated Brotherhood campaign”.

The state of anger was not limited to the accounts of the Egyptians on the communication sites, but rather extended to others in the Arab countries, they criticized the alive statements and his call.

Naji Al -Shihabi, head of the Egyptian Democratic Generation Party, promised in a statement on Monday the alive statements “a complete separation from reality and a disgraceful denial of the beautiful.”

Palestinian, the national action factions issued a statement, on Monday, which was not signed by Hamas, during which it welcomed “the Egyptian efforts aimed at mitigating the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip and introducing aid to those trapped inside the Strip.”

In turn, the Deputy Director General of the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies, Major General Mohamed Ibrahim Al -Duwairi, stressed that “it is not possible to accept any statements issued by any personality, whatever her nationality or affiliation is trying to blame Egypt for the events of Gaza.”

Al -Duwairi told Al -Sharq Al -Awsat: “These are rejected statements; Because it violates the truth, and it is certain that everyone who speaks of such statements knows that it is increasing and trying to remove responsibility for the real cause of the crisis.

He added: “It was not appropriate for the head of the negotiating delegation in the Hamas movement, and he is the most people who know the extent of the intense effort made by Egypt and its negotiating delegation to end this humanitarian catastrophe, to make any statements that affect the honorable Egyptian position, whatever the flimsy justifications or structured structural phrases, or trying to intervene directly or indirectly in Egyptian internal affairs and pitting public opinion.”

He called on those who are trying to blame Egypt for “reviewing his positions well, and knowing that he is not far from being one of the direct officials of the Gaza disaster.”

Egypt plays the role of mediator with Qatar and the United States to achieve a truce in the Gaza Strip. Al -Duwairi stressed that al -Hayya’s statements “will not affect Egypt’s role in the armistice negotiations,” and said: “Egyptian efforts will continue not for a specific faction or organization, but for the sake of the Palestinian people.”

For his part, Brigadier Khaled Okasha, the academic specialist in strategic affairs and regional security, pointed out that the alive statements “sparked a great Egyptian anger”, but at the same time he expressed “an understanding” of it, and promised to “flirt with the Palestinian interior.”

Okasha told Asharq Al -Awsat that “the Hamas movement is under great pressure in light of notes on its performance and holding it responsible for what happened in the Gaza Strip; What caused embarrassment to its leaders, especially those residing abroad.

He added: «In light of the breakthrough that occurred with Egyptian -Qatari efforts to implement the human protocol and the introduction of aid in conjunction with the continued negotiation for the truce, the (Hamas) movement wants to photograph the matter as if there are appeals on its part to move the situation. Despite his understanding of the motives for the leadership of the leader in “Hamas”, Okasha stressed that “the serpent is his success by his attempt to increase the Egyptian role and export the crisis to Cairo.”

Al -Hayya’s statements coincided with the continued entry of aid convoys to the Gaza Strip, and the Cairo News Channel quoted the Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent, Dr. Amal Imam, saying on Monday that “the second regiment of aid convoys within the initiative (Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza) is currently being prepared.”

The channel explained that «in the context of its continuous efforts to pay more aid to the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent launched a national mechanism to coordinate aid to Gaza, on Sunday, a convoy (Zad Al -Azza … from Egypt to Gaza) that includes aid trucks in the direction of the southern Gaza Strip, through the Karam Abu Salem crossing. She said, “The convoy includes more than 100 trucks carrying more than 1,200 tons of food.”
