Amid the interaction of the controversy between confirming and denying the imposition of a siege on the As -Suwayda Governorate, a aid convoy entered the governorate, on Monday, loaded with 200 tons of flour, while the Syrian Minister of Information called for “neutralizing the needs of citizens from any political employment”, denouncing allegations of a government blockade of the Suwayda Governorate.
The As -Suwayda Governorate, which witnessed bloody events in the middle of this month, suffers from difficult humanitarian conditions, and accompanies the exacerbation of the humanitarian conditions in As -Suwayda with incitement and counter -incitement campaigns, in social media that did not exclude the humanitarian situation of civilians, and the Syrian Minister of Information, Hamza Al -Mustafa, condemned what he described as “the exploitation of the suffering of civilians and hate speech”, calling for neutralizing the needs of citizens from any political employment.

He also denounced in a post on the “X” platform allegations of a government blockade of the As -Suwayda Governorate, describing it as “reckless behaviors” of outlaw groups. On a related matter, the residing coordinator of the United Nations in Syria, Dr. Adam Abdel -Mawla, told the official agency «SANA» that a third convoy of basic humanitarian aid has been sent to the Suwayda Governorate, including food, relief, and medical supplies, in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, stressing the United Nations continuing its efforts to mobilize support, and enhance coordination with the Syrian authorities, to ensure the continuity of humanitarian response As a result of the situation in the province.
An official at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Qutaiba Idlibi, said that the aid that was sent, on Monday, to the province of As -Suwayda, is part of the continued efforts of the government in stabilizing the post -fighting situation witnessed in the province during the past two weeks.
In a statement to Asharq Al -Awsat, Idlibi added that “humanitarian support is continuing, and we seek to restore normal life soon, while starting the path of political action and societal reconciliation.”
For its part, the Syrian news channel reported that the humanitarian aid convoy includes 27 trucks containing 200 tons of flour, 2000 shelters, 1,000 food baskets, in addition to various medical materials.

For his part, the Syrian Minister of Information, Hamza Al -Mustafa, stressed that “since the beginning of the unfortunate events, the convoys of humanitarian aid have not stopped trying to reach our people in As -Suwayda, they are hoped that they will reach everyone who is waiting for support at this difficult time.”
Al -Mustafa added in a post on the X platform: “We honestly hope that these caravans will not be subjected to the authority outside the law that seeks to employ our people’s suffering for its isolationist goals,” stressing that the state remains in front of its moral responsibility towards the sons of As -Suwayda and every citizen suffers, and will spare no effort to reduce their suffering, and deliver support to those who deserve it.
The Governor of As -Suwayda, Mustafa Al -Bakour, confirmed on Sunday that the convoys of relief and humanitarian aid enters into the As -Suwayda Governorate daily and naturally from the Bosra Al -Sham country in Daraa countryside, and there is no disability in the traffic, and the road is Salik to enter the relief organizations to the governorate, according to a statement to SANA.

Al -Bakour pointed out that the technical and service workshops continue at the same time in full swing, to rehabilitate some of the affected clips on the road, and to ensure the return of the natural movement to all parts of the province, in coordination with the concerned authorities, to ensure the safety of citizens, and to facilitate their transportation safely.
Al -Bakour indicated that the humanitarian response continues to the southern region, where aid convoys transported 96 tons of flour, 85 thousand liters of diesel for hospitals, ovens, communications institution, equipment and surgical consumables sufficient for 400 surgeries, medicines and medical consumers, nutritional materials and relief aid.
Al -Bakour affirmed that fuel is made daily to the province of As -Suwayda by the Ministry of Energy, as well as a new aid convoy, containing 200 tons of flour and various relief assistance.

On the other hand, the sheikh of the “Almohad Muslims Druze” sect in Syria, Youssef Jarbou, described the situation in humanity and relief in As -Suwayda as “bad, because the needs in the province are greater than the quantities of relief, medical and food aids that you enter.
Jarbou said in a statement to Asharq Al -Awsat, that there is a problem in providing and distributing flour to the ovens, as well as the fuel whose deficiency also causes the aggravation of the movement between villages and in the neighborhoods of the city of As -Suwayda.
Jarbou also stated that the displacement process that took place caused the pressure of the villages, because the people have consumed the inventory there, and they are now in a need.
He pointed out that fuels and foodstuffs, such as flour, must come more, and this is the responsibility of the state, because it is among the dues of the province that must remain continuous, but today it is idle.
He explained that the humanitarian support that comes from international organizations is still weak, and does not cover the full need, and the situation increases difficult on a daily basis.

In response to a question about the accusations directed at the government of imposing a siege on the endosperm despite its endeavor to introduce aid convoys, Jarbou saw that there is “a failure by the government that leaves the matter to international organizations, but the aspect that must be covered not to do it properly.”
The “Middle East” Jarbou asked about the party that bears the responsibility in the status quo, especially since a ministerial delegation from the Syrian government when the ceasefire was announced, with a humanitarian aid convoy to As -Suwayda, but the Sheikh of the Druze community ruled Al -Hijri refused to enter the delegation and the aid convoy? He replied that he was personally encouraging to enter the humanitarian delegation and was not against him, but there was a rejection by Sheikh Al -Hijri. He added: “We have seen that this refusal does not serve us, because the delegation is composed of civilian ministers who have nothing to do with military action, and they provide civil services.”
He pointed out that after what happened in As -Suwayda, it (the government) “wants to impose itself by force, but the matter needs to restore confidence and strengthen it between society and the state … and we had fear that if the government members entered may be subjected to insulting people.”
He added, “We must reinforce confidence, but we need initiatives from the Syrian state that goes beyond the crisis and provides good -intentions, including at least the release of the detainees.”
Jerus described the endosperm as a disaster area that needs humanitarian support in all respects, and stressed that the humanitarian situation in the province should remain far from politics.
He added, “We want international organizations, such as the Red Crescent, as we want a team from the United Nations to assess the humanitarian situation and know the required needs.”
