A session of the Security Council on Syria confirms the support of a comprehensive political transition and the condemnation of foreign intervention Arabausa

The representatives of the member states at a session of the UN Security Council on Syria held, on Monday, confirmed their support for a comprehensive political transition in this country, and the condemnation of any foreign interference that undermines this process.

Al -Dahhak added that Israel continues to impose a “new reality by hitting the Syrian national unity,” expressing Damascus’s rejection of Israel’s attempts to “exploit the ends of As -Suwayda to aggression” on the country.

Pederson also stressed the necessity of “reforming the security sector and removing all irregular groups”, usually that “confidence in permanent security depends primarily on the credibility of the political transition itself. Loyalty to the state cannot be imposed by force. ”

The UN envoy confirmed that the transitional political process in Syria “cannot fail.”

* Humanitarian aid

In turn, Idim Wossurno, Director of Operations and Consultation Division at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), called on all parties to ensure the arrival of humanitarian aid to As -Suwayda “permanently and without obstacles.”

The UN official revealed that the UN organization is seeking to obtain $ 3.2 billion by the end of 2025 for the humanitarian response in Syria.

For his part, the Russian deputy delegate to the United Nations, Dmitry Pollesky, said in his speech at the session that Moscow hopes that the Syrian people can “overcome instability and achieve sustainable development”, stressing that the Syrian leadership “must respect the determinants of the unity of the Syrian people and the rights of each citizen regardless of their religion.”
