A training camp for Hamas, east of Beirut, was revealed Arabausa

A Lebanese judicial source told Asharq Al -Awsat yesterday, the dismantling of a training camp for the Hamas movement and the “Islamic Group” in the Aley region of Mount Lebanon, three weeks after the arrest of an armed group in the outskirts of the town of Tabayat in the region.

The source said that the Lebanese army “managed to dismantle a dedicated and equipped camp with equipment and weapons to train Lebanese militants and other nationalities,” explaining that this “training camp includes armed men from (Hamas) and (Al -Fajr Forces), the military wing of the (Islamic Group) in Lebanon, which indicates their perseverance in the military approach and to proceed to build their combat capabilities again,” indicating that “The detainees, who number more than 10 people, are mostly from Beirut, in addition to their comrades from the Jordanian dependency.” He described the detainees as “important elements; Especially since the fathers of a number of them were fighting on the South front and assassinated them in Israel in the recent war.

In addition, the Lebanese activist supporting the Palestinians, George Ibrahim Abdullah, who was convicted of collusion with the assassination of American and Israeli diplomats in the eighties of the last century, arrived 40 years after his prison in France.

Abdullah, 74, spent forty years in France’s prisons. Before his release, he became the oldest prisoner in France. Although no official event was organized on the occasion of his return, a crowd of supporters gathered, including a number of representatives of Hezbollah and the “Amal Movement” in Parliament, at Beirut Airport awaiting it.
