Job Snapshot:
Title: Information Technology Assistant (ITA)
Location: Sacramento, California (95811)
Salary Range: $4,791 – $8,485/month (paid by the employer)
Average Salary: Around $7,000/month
Estimated Range: $5,000 to $8,000 depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Work Model: Hybrid – Up to 40% remote weekly
What You’ll Do:
As an IT Assistant, you’ll be the go-to person keeping everything running smoothly. Your tasks include:
- Providing hardware and software support (yep, you’re the hero when computers crash)
- Installing and updating software
- Moving and setting up devices (don’t worry — max 50 lbs)
- Helping users troubleshoot daily issues
- Assisting in IT projects like upgrades and deployments
Note: There are two units within CalPERS hiring — same job, just different internal departments.
