French Grossian scores 50 m butterfly Arabausa

Frenchman Maxim Grosse kidnapped the last moments and scored the 50m golden race in the World Swimming Championships in Singapore Monday.

Grossi finished the race with a time of 22.48 seconds, ahead of the Swiss Noy Ponte (22.51) and the Italian Thomas Chikon (22.67).

The rapid and enthusiastic race, which will be included for the first time in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028, witnessed intense competition, as Gross won a very little difference.

“I don’t know how I went to this race, but it was very fast,” said the French.

Grossian had entered the final as the fastest qualified, ahead of Ponte and the British Ben Braood.

The American Kilib Dardil, the world champion, did not participate in this race, in the Singapore competition.

Grossian confirmed that the inclusion of the race in the Olympic program in Los Angeles gives him an additional motivation for success, saying: “I am working for this, it is an additional race for me and another opportunity to win a medal.”

As for Chickeon, the 2023 world champion, he fought the race less than half an hour after his participation in the semi -finals of the 100m race.
