Infection forces Dimitrov to withdraw Arabausa

The Bulgarian tennis player Gregor Dimitrov, on Tuesday, was forced to announce his withdrawal from the American Open tennis championship, the last of the four major Grand Salam tournaments for the current season, which will be held next month.

The 34 -year -old Dimitrov withdrawal came from the “Flaching Meadows” starring, due to the chest injury that was suffered while participating in the “Wimbledon Championship”.

Dimitrov appeared on his way to topple Italian Yannik Senner, the world number one of the “Wimbledon Championship”, this month, after winning the first two groups of their match in the round of 16, but he grabbed his chest after sending an overwhelming and forced to withdraw.

Georgi Stapinov, the director of Demetrov, told the “Tennis Kaif” website, that the ranked 20 on the world will not be able to participate in “Flaching Midoz”, which is the championship in which he reached the quarter -finals during the last year’s edition, after suffering a partial rupture of the chest muscle.

The Dimitrov career, which included 58 consecutive participation in the main roles of the four major Grand Salam championships, was stopped, starting with the Australian Open in 2011.
