Despite being excluded from the official inheritance, Brooke will reportedly receive a portion of Hogan’s life insurance, which she plans to use for the education of her twins, whom she gave birth to in January with her husband, former hockey player Stephen Oleksiy.
Ironically, the late wrestler never saw his grandchildren, despite repeated attempts by his son-in-law to end the estrangement. Even when Brooke nearly died during childbirth, Hogan “ignored the matter and showed no desire to reconcile,” according to TMZ.
The feud wasn’t limited to Brooke and her father. Her mother, Linda, accused her ex-husband Hogan last March of being a “liar and a sex addict,” and said the family was “at its lowest point” after Brooke cut ties with both of them.
But Brooke responded by accusing her mother of verbal and psychological abuse during her childhood, which later prompted Linda to defend Hogan and accuse Brooke of being “selfish.”
Brooke’s last contact with her father was in September 2023, weeks before his third marriage to Sky Daily. In that call, Brooke expressed her love and concern for him and asked him to stop working due to his deteriorating health, but he ignored her requests.
“I heard words of vulnerability from my father, listened to my pleas, and then suddenly he changed, taking a path that tore his soul apart,” Brooke later said , noting that she had to step away to avoid an emotional breakdown.
Despite the estrangement, Brooke and her husband made sure to pay a touching tribute to her father, naming their daughter “Molly Jane,” the same middle name Hogan had.
Brooke concluded her statement with a heartfelt message: “I know I did everything I could. He knew I would run through fire for him, and I have done that more than once in my life. I loved him deeply and truly, and now I am at peace.”
Her husband, Stephen Oleksiy, whom she married in 2022, posted a photo of himself with Brooke and Hogan, asking the public to respect their privacy at this time, and denying the circulating clips fabricated using artificial intelligence.
