The Turkish club Galatasaray announced, on Wednesday, the inclusion of Nigerian star Victor Osimin permanently, after playing in his ranks last season on loan.
The transfer of Osimin from Naples to the Turkish champion comes in exchange for a huge deal of 75 million euros, after he was one of the champions who led the Italian club to achieve the Italian League title (Siri A) in 2023.
According to the French newspaper “L’Equipe”, Galatasaray paid 40 million euros a first batch, with the remaining amount of 35 million euros before the end of 2026.
According to the newspaper, the deal included a remarkable clause, described as “the anti -walking condition”, as the Turkish club prevents the sale of Osimin to any Italian club before 2027, otherwise it will be subjected to a double financial penalty that reaches the value of the deal twice.
Osimin (26 years old), who was a decisive element in the coronation of Napoli with the Italian League title for the first time in decades, entered into a sharp dispute with the management of his club in the summer of 2024, which led to his loan towards the Turkish League.
With Galatasaray, Osimin shine remarkably during his first season, scoring 37 goals in 41 games, and contributed greatly to the team’s achievement of the local duo (League and Cup).
