The Spanish club Real Madrid announced, on Tuesday, officially, the granting of its French scorer, Killian Mbappe, the No. 10 shirt instead of the No. 9 shirt he wore since it came to the Royal Club.
The No. 10 shirt became available after the departure of the veteran Croatian star, Luka Modric, from Real Madrid.
Real Madrid posted a picture of Mbabi on its official website wearing the number 10 shirt.
Mbappe, the star of the French national team, joined the Royal Club last summer, and scored in his first season in the Spanish league 28 goals in 32 games, to break the record number of goals that were scored through one player in his first season for Real Madrid, which was in the possession of Alfredo de Stefano, where he scored 27 goals in the 1953-1954 season.
Mbappe left Paris Saint -Germain carrying the club’s historical scorer with 256 goals in 308 games in all competitions.
Mbappe was not satisfied with scoring the heavy goals during his seven seasons with the French giant, but also helped them win many titles, by contributing to 15 local titles, and he did not exceed twenty -five years of age, which made him one of the club’s most culminating players.
Killian won the Paris shirt 6 league titles and the French Cup 4 times, the French Professional League Cup twice, and the French Super Cup 3 times, but he did not achieve the most important title, the Champions League.
