Russia will face sanctions within 10 days unless it moves to end the war in Ukraine Arabausa

US President Donald Trump said he will begin to impose customs duties and take other measures towards Russia “within 10 days starting today” unless Moscow made progress towards ending the war in Ukraine.

Trump, who announced for the first time yesterday, Monday, added that he would reduce a 50 -day first time to take action by Moscow, that he had not yet received a response from Russia, according to Reuters news agency.

Trump told reporters on the presidential plane that he is not concerned about the potential impact of Russian sanctions on the oil market or prices, noting that the United States will enhance oil production locally to compensate for any impact.

Trump’s words came on his way back from the United Kingdom to Washington. On Monday, he announced that it had reduced a previous deadline granted to Moscow from fifty days to ten and 12 days to end its war in Ukraine.

The US President confirmed that he had not heard any reaction from his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, to this threat, and said: “I did not receive any response. This is defective. ”

He added, “We will impose customs duties, etc.”, before he added: “I do not know if that will affect Russia because it is clear that (Putin) wants to continue the war.”
