The Governor of Alexandria expressed his pride in hosting the summer festival for music and singing 2025 for the first time in the Alexandria Stadium, and he promised him an unprecedented artistic and cultural experience that highlights the cultural and historical status of the city, stressing that Alexandria has always been a meeting place for civilizations, and today its role continues a beacon of culture and art.
The Egyptian music critic, Ahmed Al -Samahi, believes that “these festivals play a very important role by preserving the Egyptian artistic cultural heritage and presenting high -end arts to attract the masses”, adding to “Al -Sharq Al -Awsat”: “This is an important role that the Egyptian Ministry of Culture plays through the Opera House, which is a role that corresponds to artistic events and the places of gatherings, especially in the summer season in Alexandria.”
He pointed out that what drew his attention is to restore successful and senior stars such as Ihab Tawfiq, Hisham Abbas and others, “These parties offer enjoyable singing, at a few prices and are almost symbolic, which contributed to the mass acceptance.”

The Ministry of Culture has previously announced the launch of the “Summer of Our Country” festival in the northern coast, and included parties for many folklore and Egyptian folklore teams, as well as concerts of music and singing, and the “Opera Summer” festival was launched with parties on the opera theaters in Cairo, in parallel with the announcement of the holding of parties for the festival in the Alexandria Stadium.
Egyptian music critic Mahmoud Fawzi Al -Sayed promised such festivals “breaking the idea of centralization”, adding to “Al -Sharq Al -Awsat”, that “it is good to see this festival in Alexandria, and we hope the coming years we see a festival like it in Upper Egypt, and that the choice of Alexandria stadium comes out of the traditional framework of the theaters.”
Al -Sayyid pointed out that there are “distinctive and varied names at the level of music and singing at the parties of these festivals, which makes us feel abundant in production and diversity in parties for all audiences, whether in the coast, Alamein or Alexandria, because they are linked to the resorts at this time,” stressing that “choosing the place, timing and artists is very successful.”
