Moscow excludes Putin and Tremb’s meeting and awaiting Ukrainian move to pay negotiations

The Kremlin ruled out a summit soon, gathering the Presidents of Russia and the United States in Türkiye, without declaring a direct rejection of a proposal made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in this regard.

The Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov praised the role that Ankara plays to pay negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, but he added during a daily press statement on Monday, that “there are no specific developments on the possibility of organizing a meeting between the Russian and American presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, in Türkiye.”

Peskov indicated that the agenda of the Russian President “does not currently include a conversation with Erdogan on the possibility of holding a meeting between Putin and Tremb”; But he added, “However, if necessary, a high -level conversation can be organized within hours.”

The Turkish president had announced earlier that he intends to discuss the arrangement of a possible meeting in Istanbul with the Russian and American parties.

Difficult and arduous work

Moscow believes that «the political will to hold the Russian -American summit is available; But it needs an accurate arrangement »according to the presidential spokesman, who added that“ experts should work before the presidential meeting; Because leaving this arduous task for the two presidents is illogical. ”

He explained: «We still believe that we must first do work at the level of experts; Because leaving hard and hard work for the two presidents is totally ill. First, we have to prepare, and we have to set the settlement standards, then approve them at the highest level. But not the opposite. ”

At the same time, Peskov repeated the proposal of an idea that the Kremlin had touched two days ago, about Putin’s willingness to meet his American counterpart in China, next September, on the sidelines of Beijing celebrations on the occasion of the anniversary of the end of World War II.

“If US President Donald Trump decides to visit China in conjunction with the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin, I do not rule out their meeting,” Peskov said.

Peskov touched on the results of the third negotiation round that took place in Istanbul last Wednesday, and said that his country “is awaiting Ukraine’s response to the proposal to form work groups that were presented during the recent talks.”

And Russia had proposed during the negotiating tour, which lasted for about an hour, that 3 working groups operating from the files on the negotiation files be formed.

No allies for Russia

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov launched a violent attack on the West, and said he sought all his energies to defeat a major in Russia.

He said during his participation in a youth conference, that “when the West regains his senses and wants to renew its relations with Russia, Moscow will strictly deal with the principles on which these relations will be built.”

It is noteworthy that the minister who always repeats that his country is not isolated, and has very wide support from allies and partners in the world, he spoke in a different tone this time, and said that “for the first time in its history, Russia has no allies in the ongoing war with the West; She can only rely on herself. ”

“For the first time in its history, Russia is fighting a single war against the whole West,” Lavrov said. In the First World War, and in World War II, we had allies. Now, we do not have allies in the battlefield. Therefore, we must rely on ourselves. We should not allow any weakness or relaxation. ”

He stressed that Russia insists on its “legitimate demands: guaranteeing security, preventing the expansion of (NATO) expansion, and protecting the speaking population in Russian in Ukraine.”

In exchange for his attack on the West, Lavrov described the US president as “pragmatic and does not want any wars, and he is open to the dialogue.”

He believed that Trump “unlike his predecessor, Mr. Biden, and unlike the current European elites, such as Ursula von der Line, Starmer, and Macron, open to dialogue.” He added that «the dialogue between Moscow and the West was always continuous, including during the Cold War, which allowed the opposing camps to better understand each other, and most importantly, to prevent a major war.

He continued: “The dialogue between the Soviet Union and the United States did not stop at any time, despite the confrontation during the Cold War. Rather, more importantly, mutual respect continued, while today these concepts have disappeared. Europe has lost its right. ”

“Europe realizes that hundreds of billions of euros pumped in Ukraine were directed to a major defeat in Russia, and contributed to killing our soldiers, organizing terrorist attacks against civil infrastructure, and sending hired killers to destroy our politicians and journalists,” Lavrov added. Of course, Europe does all of this for one goal: the Ukrainians use fuel for defender to remove Russia from the top of competition. ”

Lavrov promised that European countries “also seek to raise separatist tendencies in Russian society”, warning that “the next decade will be very difficult because of the emergence of various global threats, including the penetration of (NATO) in Japan, and the penetration of the United States in the Asia and the Pacific region.”

And to this, Lavrov said: “The West – on top of them the Americans – does not hide their great interest in expanding their influence in the Asia and Pacific region that they specifically call the area of the Indian and calm surroundings, in order to attract our Indian friends … There are many already clear problems … Therefore, there are many threats, and the next contract will not be easy.”

International security threat

The Russian Foreign Minister indicated that the transfer of the military infrastructure of the NATO to the Far East, the South China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the Korean Peninsula, and the formation of different quad and three military groups, threatening international security.

Lavrov touched on the trade agreement recently concluded by the United States with the European Union, an agreement that the Kremlin described as “hostile to Russia”; Because it prohibits the purchase of oil and gas from the Russian Federation.

The minister said that the main affected by this agreement is the European Union itself; Because it will lead to a decline in industry in Europe.

He explained that «American energy resources are much more expensive than Russian resources. It is clear that such an approach will lead to further declining industry in Europe, and to the flow of investments from Europe to the United States. This will be a very strong blow; Especially for energy prices, investment flow, European industry, and European agriculture.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Line, and the American president, had reached, on Sunday, to a trade agreement, according to which all European Union exports- almost- to the United States to 15 percent customs tariffs. Moreover, the European Union has committed to the purchase of LNG, nuclear fuel and weapons from the United States.
